Aim: To develop Participatory Action Research skills among staff of the DPOs with the aim of establishing PAR projects that will address the Menstrual Hygiene Management needs of disabled girls and women.

Beatriz is from Ecuador, has holds numerous Master Degree qualifications in Anthropology and Sociology, with cum-laude distinctions. Furthermore, she has a PhD in Disability Studies from the University of Leeds, UK. In addition to her wealth of academic expertise, Beatriz has considerable personal experience in the field of disability, as she grew up in a family with four severely disabled siblings. Beatriz has travelled extensively throughout the world as has vast experience in disability research and Participatory Action Research.
