Fiona MacLeod Budge

A passionate trainer, enthusiastic about creative methodologies and encouraging high levels of participation in both training and research activities. Born and raised in NZ to parents who emigrated from Scotland. Has lived and worked in Nigeria, Indonesia, UK, Germany and The Netherlands. Initially trained as an Occupational Therapist, went on to study Cultural Anthropology and Public Relations, after this completed a Masters Degree in Medical Anthropology and Sociology. Is expert in disability related issues.

Experienced in lecturing and supervising Bachelor and Master Level Students at University level. Frequent guest lecturer at tertiary level institutes and guest speaker and workshop leader in International Conferences.

Married to an International Public Health expert engaged primarily in Leprosy, Tuberculosis and Disability work. Mother of three daughters. The family have travelled and lived in a number of international settings.

Considerable experience having delivered various training in diverse places inclusive of Nepal, Ethiopia, Indonesia, The Netherlands, and Timor Leste to a wide range of target groups.
